IMOTEC is a private non-profit institution, established in 2005 and based in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Institute is offering guidance in advanced technologies and providing consultancy, training, developments and related services as far as knowledge of ICT and mobile technology are concerned.
The Institute goals include promoting high quality competences in international co-operation based on applying new technologies and internet tools with the regards to development of knowledge society. An institution with more than 15 years of experience in the development of advanced ICT tools and mobile apps for different learning groups, including people with disabilities.
LNOF Lietuvos negalios organizacijų forumas
LNF: Association „Lithuanian Disability forum “(hereinafter LDF) is Umbrella organization of Disability Organisations. LDF is the biggest platform of organizations in Lithuania representing people with disabilities and their families. At the moment it has 15 national member organisations representing about 300 000 Lithuanian people with disabilities and their families. It provides access to Lithuanian people with various disabilities, to participate in forming social policy and improving situation of the disabled and realizing equal rights of Lithuanian disabled people.
AIAS Bologna onlus
AIAS Bologna onlus is an NGO with a long history in supporting people with disabilities of all ages, in particular in making people with disabilities benefit from available technologies. It operates Assistive Technology services on behalf of the Local Health Trust in Bologna. The team is multidisciplinary and includes educators, occupational therapists, ICT experts, biomedical engineers, psychologists and social workers. AIAS has been involved in several European projects involving young people with disabilities.
Bolonijos universitetas
University of Bologna (UNIBO) was founded in 1088 and is considered to be the oldest university in Western Europe. Nowadays, it still remains one of the most important institutions of higher education across Europe with around 85.000 enrolled students, 11 Schools, 33 research departments, 3000 academics and 3000 administrative staff. The Department of Philosophy and Communication Studies of the University of Bologna has a long tradition of research on media and new media, with expertise on stereotypes and representations of disabilities and inequalities, especially connected to social skills impairments, cognitive abilities, mental health and gender studies.
FENACERCI
FENACERCI is an umbrella organisation that represent the interests of more than 25.000 people with intellectual and multiple disabilities and their families. For the last 20 years has been involved in more than 30 projects, both at national and European level. FENACERCI has a lot of experience on trying to close the digital gap for people with ID, namely due to specific projects that they were involved. They are also deeply committed with self-advocacy and empowerment of people with ID, and they give direct support to the National Platform of self-advocates, both technical and financial.
CERCIMARANTE
CERCIMARANTE is a social solidarity cooperative, Fenacerci associated member, that works directly with people with intellectual disabilities providing them and their families a wide range of services as Early Intervention, Inclusive Education, Vocational Training among others services. Cerci has a large experience working with youngsters with intellectual disabilities promoting their capacities and empowering them to be fully participate citizens. CERCI also build up a self-advocacy group and it’s a member of the National Platform of self-advocates. On the last years had made a huge effort on social media in order to change the general perception about disability creating for this propose a media department, a facebook and instagram accounts.
atempo Betriebsgesellschaft mbH.
atempo Betriebsgesellschaft mbH. is a private non-profit organisation owned by the non-profit atempo association. atempo offers various training and learning facilities for people with learning difficulties and disabilities in Graz and several services for assisting members of this target group to get jobs on the first labour market. On the other hand, atempo offers services and products which obtain its certain quality out of the fact that people with learning difficulties and disabilities are involved in the production and delivery. The aim of all atempo activities is to work towards equalisation of people with learning difficulties and disabilities. Besides atempo works to remove barriers hindering people with learning difficulties and disabilities to take part in society as equal citizens. Via its work within many European project partnerships atempo has an extended expertise in working in VET with young people with intellectual disabilities and learning difficulties, including the use of mobile platforms and relevant apps.
